EY is hiring an Associate Consultant for its Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) technical squad within the Business Consulting Risk practice in Bangalore. Operating inside the Financial Services (FS) sector, this role bridges quantitative risk modeling with modern backend software engineering to help global banking, capital markets, and asset management institutions navigate structural regulations. Moving beyond traditional management consulting, this is a technical implementation role. You will be responsible for designing, programming, and deploying scalable backend services, quantitative computation layers, and secure transaction validation APIs that allow financial clients to monitor compliance, analyze assets/liabilities, and evaluate capital liquidity risks.

Requirements:
- Formal technical graduation degree, specifically a B.E. / B.Tech, MCA, BCA, or B.Sc. in Information Technology (IT) from an accredited institution.
- 3+ years of professional, hands-on enterprise software engineering experience with deep technical command writing robust, maintainable backend structures strictly in C#.
- Direct expertise designing, developing, testing, and scaling secure RESTful Web APIs and data abstraction components to interface with distributed microservices.
- Strong background querying data grids, tuning relational schemas, and processing transactional data fields, preferably utilizing Microsoft SQL Server or similar enterprise environments.
- Understanding of how software applications support banking or insurance operations—specifically interfacing logic with liquidity monitoring frameworks, compliance rules engines, asset liability management (ALM) systems, or data forecasting marts.
- Capability to map complex business requirements into solid code components, draft technical design briefs, run software integration checks, and diagnose bugs inside production environments.
- Familiarity working inside structured software development lifecycles (SDLC) and collaborating within iterative Agile or Scrum sprint intervals.
- Exceptional logical thinking and problem-solving skills, high learning agility to pick up new financial compliance technologies, a collaborative team mindset, and excellent verbal and written technical English communication metrics.
